Job Title: Theatre Team Member
We are looking for highly motivated qualified individuals to be part of the team in theatres at the James Paget University Hospital. This exciting opportunity means you will be part of a theatre team that is currently in transformation with the addition of two new orthopaedic theatres as part of an elective hub. This role requires you to have adaptability and enthusiasm to learn and develop personally alongside the service.

You will be given the opportunity to progress your professional development both skills-based and educationally through our embedded band 5 development pathway, with the additional opportunity to develop skills in Surgical First Assist or anaesthetic nursing.
You will work as part of the multi-disciplinary theatre team to provide care during the delivery of clinical services throughout the patient's perioperative journey. The role requires an ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, within the appropriate legal requirements, acts, policies, procedures, and guidelines. The successful applicants must be able to communicate effectively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and be versatile to the department requirements. You will act as a role model and mentor for the students and visitors that access the department, upholding the trust's values and behaviours.
