An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the CAMHS Crisis and Intensive Home Treatment Team. Crisis and Home Treatment has an emphasis on being able to support in the most complex times of a young person's life and help them to stabilise their mental health. Working in collaboration with the CAMHS Liaison Team, which focuses on ensuring that anyone under 18 attending one of our acute hospital's Emergency Departments has timely access to a sound, high quality assessment for their mental health. Both services support young people and their families therapeutically to help them navigate through the period of crisis.
You must be a Registered Nurse, Dip SW or equivalent social work qualification (CSS, CQSW, DipSW, degree in social work), Allied Health Professional registered with the HCPC and accredited by a HCPC recognised body e.g. BABCP.
Please note that this post may not meet the pay level required for a Skilled Worker Visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances, the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.

Full training will be provided.
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
