Our mission is to help healthcare providers streamline patient pathways and improve collaboration across different care settings through digital transformation. We foster a diverse, inclusive, and development-focused environment where our team can thrive.

Join us in shaping the future of patient care.

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute doctor to join our dynamic Medical Affairs team as a Clinical Solutions Lead, focusing on acute and urgent care (including cancer) pathways. This is a unique opportunity for clinicians with a deep understanding of the NHS to transition into a commercially focused role within a pioneering health technology company.

This is a full-time, office-based role in Ealing Broadway, London, with a degree of national, and potentially international travel required.

The Role
In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our clinical and commercial strategies. Leveraging your firsthand experience of NHS care pathways and clinical expertise, you will provide critical guidance to drive product adoption and identify new market opportunities across the UK. You will act as a key thought leader, fostering engagement with clinical stakeholders at both new and existing sites and championing our solutions within the healthtech landscape.

Ideal candidates may have completed or be undertaking postgraduate specialist training, or possess relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, consulting, or digital health sectors. Demonstrable experience in a commercial setting is highly desirable. This role offers a unique platform for a clinician to apply their medical knowledge and credibility to achieve commercial objectives and make a significant impact on the future of healthcare.

Responsibilities

Clinical & Commercial Strategy:

  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the company's clinical and go-to-market strategy.
  • Contribute clinical expertise to product development and market access initiatives.
  • Utilise your deep understanding of NHS care pathways to inform commercial strategy, focusing on either acute care or elective recovery and outpatients.

Business Development:

  • Leverage your clinical knowledge to identify, research, and actively pursue new commercial opportunities in acute and specialist clinical settings.
  • Support the entire sales cycle to contribute to achieving ambitious commercial targets.
  • Prepare and deliver expert and compelling product demonstrations to a diverse range of clinical, commercial, and executive audiences.
  • Create and deliver clinically-focused presentations and other supporting materials for the commercial teams.

Stakeholder Engagement & Thought Leadership:

  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, hospital executives, and potential industry partners to drive growth.
  • Engage with the clinical and digital health communities to build your network.
  • Represent the company at national and international conferences.
  • Deliver thought leadership through the creation of articles and presentations.

Account Management & Marketing:

  • Focus on customer retention and identify upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Provide data-driven clinical insights to maintain and strengthen client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce high-quality clinical content for case studies, articles, and other marketing materials.

Wider Medical Affairs Contributions:

  • Provide support for research and publications through data analysis and evidence generation.
  • Lend your clinical expertise to consulting activities with the NHS, pharmaceutical companies, and other partners.
  • Support the digital delivery team during new software implementations to ensure clinical robustness and safety.

What makes you a great fit;
You are an ambitious and commercially-minded doctor who is passionate about leveraging technology to improve healthcare systems and patient outcomes. You are a strategic thinker with the drive to translate your deep clinical knowledge into commercial success.

To be a great fit for this role, you will have:

  • A medical qualification (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) and must have practised as a doctor in the UK.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ clinical practice experience within hospital specialities, with partial or full completion of higher-level specialist training being highly advantageous.
  • A comprehensive understanding of NHS structures and care pathways, particularly in acute or urgent care, including cancer, settings.
  • Proven commercial experience from a role in Digital Health, MedTech, Pharmaceuticals, or healthcare consulting is strongly preferred.
  • A proactive and collaborative nature, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and thrive independently.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, allowing you to engage with credibility and influence senior clinical, commercial, and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and nurture lasting commercial relationships and professional networks.
  • The ability to think strategically, critically analyse the competitive landscape, and generate innovative ideas for product adoption and growth.
  • The motivation and self-starting attitude to excel in a role with a high degree of autonomy.

What we offer;

  • The unique opportunity to be a leading member of our commercially-focused Medical Affairs team.
  • A high-impact role with significant autonomy and responsibility.
  • A collaborative and forward-thinking company culture with direct access to senior leadership.
  • Private Health Insurance by Vitality, with a large number of additional benefit and discount schemes including discounted gym membership.
  • Holiday: 25 days per annum (plus National and Bank holidays), increasing with tenure.
  • Access to a CPD/Learning budget.
  • Enhanced maternity/paternity leave.
  • Paid sickness and compassionate leave.
