Chatter Matters Ltd is a small, independent Speech and Language Therapy company providing high-quality, child-centred services across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and the High Peak. We work with children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) across home, clinic, and educational settings.

The Role
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly team. This is a community-based role supporting children and young people across a variety of environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis and intervention for children and young people with a range of SLCN.
  • Work across our Stockport clinic, client homes, nurseries, schools and colleges.
  • Plan and deliver evidence-based therapy programmes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, teachers and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality, child-focused services within the company.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Membership of RCSLT (or willingness to join).
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
  • Ability to travel across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and the High Peak.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with Autism, AAC, early language development, phonology, selective mutism, speech sound disorders/CAS, and DLD.
