Home based in the UK (Manchester, London or Birmingham preferred due to airport access). National and international travel required, approximately 50 percent.

The International Clinical Applications Specialist will support the international distributor network through clinical training, application support, and clinical expertise to enable global growth.

What to Expect:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing international distributors
  • Create market-specific training materials tailored to local clinical practices and regulations
  • Conduct virtual and on-site training sessions for distributor sales teams, clinical specialists, and support staff
  • Monitor and assess training effectiveness using testing and performance metrics
  • Provide technical and clinical support for complex cases and troubleshooting
  • Support clinical trials, evaluations, product demonstrations, and research activities
  • Assist with the introduction of new products and advanced clinical techniques in international markets
  • Provide on-site clinical support at hospitals and medical centres
  • Act as the primary clinical resource for distributor queries on product use, contraindications, and outcomes
  • Collaborate with R&D and clinical teams to remain aligned on product developments and clinical evidence
  • Participate in international conferences, trade shows, and educational events
  • Maintain consistent communication with distributors on clinical updates and product information
  • Ensure distributors have access to current documentation, training, and clinical materials

What We Expect:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field
  • Relevant clinical certifications (e.g., surgical technology, radiology) are highly valued
  • Strong experience in clinical applications, medical device training, or healthcare delivery
  • Previous experience working in international markets or with distributors is preferred
  • Background in the medical device industry, ideally in surgical or diagnostic equipment
  • Proven ability to deliver effective clinical training programs
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Understanding of healthcare systems and reimbursement processes in key international markets
