Pay: $18.00 to $23.62 per hour based on applicable patient care experience and a review of current incumbents in the Medical Assistant job title and MA certification.

Position Purpose:
This Medical Assistant works collaboratively with IHA Hematology Oncology Associates in a 14-chair infusion center at the Chelsea hospital.

Schedule: 8am-4:30pm
Status available: Contingent, not benefit eligible

Required Qualifications:

• CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA certification through an NCCA accredited program or is eligible to register to take the exam through one of the approved providers prior to date of hire, and successfully attains CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA certification within 6 months from date of hire. The approved provider list includes the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), the American Medical Technologists (AMT), the National HealthCareer Association (NHA) or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
• 2 years previous clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Formal education in medical terminology and anatomy & physiology preferred.
