Role Description
This is a contract Site Manager role located on-site in Hammersmith in the healthcare sector. Previous experience in working in healthcare in a fully functioning hospital is absolutely essential.
The Site Manager will be based on site full time on a 6 month project and will oversee day-to-day operations and manage all aspects of this construction project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising site workers and subcontractors
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders
  • Resolving on-site issues efficiently
    The successful candidate will need to manage the programme, resources, and timelines effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.

Qualifications

  • Project management and organizational skills, including the ability to oversee timelines, allocate resources, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, including supervising staff and subcontractors and ensuring efficient collaboration on-site.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and requirements in healthcare, safety regulations, and local compliance requirements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in successfully delivering projects in healthcare.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and conflict resolution to address project challenges in a timely manner.
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management are highly desirable.
  • First aid and health and safety certifications would be advantageous.
