Clinical Unit Manager
Location: 110 St Marks Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 6DN

Salary: £19.45-£25.18 per hour, depending on experience and capability
Hours: 48 hours per week, with 6 hours supernumerary
Shift Pattern: 8am-8pm, alternative weekends

You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen By

  • Taking charge of a unit or a floor, promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity by ensuring that the team provides the highest standards of care at all times.
  • Assessing each resident’s wellbeing with your team, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met while maintaining accurate records.
  • Delivering clinical guidance to your team, leading by example, and motivating and mentoring the team to ensure the safe, smooth, and efficient running of the care home.
  • Building lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community.
  • Creating and developing strong relationships with local partners, playing an important role in raising the care home’s profile in the local area and beyond.

Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role

  • A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and expanding your professional development.
  • Passionate about caring for the elderly with a flair for helping people maintain their independence, choice, and dignity.
  • An effective communicator who can build strong and honest relationships with residents and their families.
  • Ready to use clinical experience to lead, motivate, and mentor a team, promoting excellent customer service and relationships.
  • A respectful and compassionate team player committed to giving your personal best.
