Job Description

NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full-time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week, with no change in full-time pay.

We are looking for a flexible individual to work within the Dundee locality team of NHS Tayside CAMHS. This is an opportunity to be involved in the range of services offered (mental health and neurodevelopmental) and to develop areas of expertise within an expanding and innovative service.

The Psychological Therapies team in CAMHS comprises approximately 25 members of staff, over two sites, including Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Associates, and Systemic Family Therapists. This post would be managed and supervised through the Psychological Therapies Service and would have a base at the Centre for Child Health in Dundee. This represents an excellent opportunity to join an established and supportive team with good links within both CAMHS and the wider NHS Tayside Psychological Therapies Service.

In addition to direct clinical work, this post will be linked closely to the multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies to support and enhance the professional networks of care offered to young people and their families. There will be regular opportunities for supervision and future opportunities to pursue further training or involvement with clinically relevant research and training initiatives.

Hours of work are up to 37 per week part-time, and job share applications are also welcomed.

Short-listed applicants will be contacted by email. Please check your emails regularly, including your junk/spam folder.
