Are you a compassionate, motivated Healthcare Assistant looking for Weekend outpatient shifts in NHS hospital settings?
We’re urgently recruiting experienced HCAs to work across Mid & South Wales, offering rewarding roles with ongoing opportunities.
💷 Pay £14.00 - £18.00 per hour
📍 NHS Hospitals – Outpatient Departments
🕒 Weekends 8 am - 6 pm
🔹 Responsibilities Include:
As an Outpatient HCA, you will support clinical teams with:
• Greeting and preparing patients for consultations
• Taking and recording observations (BP, pulse, temperature, respirations, SpO₂)
• Supporting minor procedures under nurse/clinician supervision
• Chaperoning during examinations
• Assisting with wound care preparation and dressing changes
• Completing patient documentation accurately
• Maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment
• Providing excellent patient care and reassurance
• Supporting clinics such as general medicine, respiratory, orthopaedics, surgical, dermatology, pain management, and more
🔹 What We’re Looking For:
✔ Minimum 12 months’ HCA experience in a hospital setting
✔ Excellent communication and patient care skills
✔ Ability to work confidently in busy outpatient departments
✔ Reliable, professional, and flexible
Work permit in United Kingdom: Required
English language skill: Intermediate (B1)
Driver's license: Not required
