Medical Account Manager (Pathology Services) - Warrington
Randox Health Pathology Services is transforming diagnostics for clinicians, hospitals, and health-tech providers across the UK. Through our digital ordering and results platform, nationwide sample collection network, centralised laboratory services, and integrated courier network, we deliver a complete diagnostics service to over 1,000 clinical clients — ranging from high-volume digital health companies to local GP surgeries. This is one of the fastest-growing areas of Randox Health and continuing to expand rapidly. We have an exciting new career opportunity for a Medical Account Manager (Pathology Services) based in Warrington.

Location: Unit 2 Bishops Court, Warrington, WA2 8QY
Contract Offered: Full-time, permanent
Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week contract. Monday to Friday (half day on Friday).

What does this role involve?
Due to continued growth, we are seeking to recruit a Medical Account Manager to join our client support and account management team. Based at our Warrington office, the Account Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring a high-quality, personalised experience for all clients — including private hospitals, clinics, and digital healthcare companies. The role combines relationship management, commercial development, and product expertise. You will be responsible for growing the breadth and value of Randox services used by each client, ensuring they are up to date with our latest products, and acting as a consultant on diagnostics market trends.

  • Manage a portfolio of clinical accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for operational and commercial queries.
  • Increase the breadth and variety of Randox services used by each client — upselling to clinical services, expanding test types, and promoting adoption of fulfilment platforms.
  • Deliver ongoing product training and education to client teams to ensure they are fully informed on Randox's latest products and capabilities.
  • Consult with clients on the current diagnostics market and advise on how they can improve.

Essential criteria:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the health care/pharma/bioscience sector managing client accounts with spend in excess of £500,000 per year, often across multiple accounts simultaneously, with portfolio responsibility exceeding £1 million annual revenue.
  • Qualified to at least 2:1 grade (or international equivalent) in a life-science, medical, or allied health professional degree.
  • Excellent communication skills to develop and maintain relationships with diverse customer groups.
  • Strong commitment to continuous learning.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working in the diagnostics/clinical pathology market.
  • Previous experience working in a Primary Care market.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload.
