An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Healthcare Assistants to join the Older People and Adult Community (OPAC) Intermediate Care Unit based in Peterborough.
The Intermediate Care Unit is currently a 34 bedded inpatient rehabilitation unit. Our unit is a joint Nurse/Therapy led facility. We have visiting Consultants and daily GP support. We provide short term rehabilitation for individuals from the age of 18 years who have had a change to their physical health. This may be due to an exacerbation of a pre-existing medical condition, an overall general deterioration in their abilities or acute cause.
