Shire Healthcare are working with a leading provider of specialist education and schools recruiting for a UKCP/BACP accredited Psychotherapist or HCPC registered Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist to be based in Buckinghamshire.
About the employer:
This employer is an independent leading provider of excellent education. They work with children and young people in an educational setting who present a complexity of needs including social and emotional needs, developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions, and special educational needs.
Role snapshot:
The candidate appointed will be the lead clinician; their role will be split between clinically leading the team and holding a clinical caseload.
The post holder will be joining an MDT and will conduct clinical assessments and provide specialist and evidence-based psychological interventions in either a one-to-one or group setting to pupils. This role will be based within a specialist school working with children who may present with SEMH, autism, and other types of neurodivergence and trauma.
Contract type – permanent (term time only)
Hours – full time (work 4 days and be paid for full time hours)
Salary - £50,000 - £60,000 FTE plus £5000 Welcome Bonus
Experience required:
Candidates applying will have a recognised degree in Psychotherapy and up-to-date professional Registration & membership of a professional body, e.g., UKCP/BACP valid along with previous experience working with children and young people with complex needs such as neuro and/or trauma.
