An exciting and challenging position has arisen within the Oncology research team based in the Oncology department at ARI. This position is for a secondment cover as a Senior Data Co-ordinator post. The post will be 37 hours per week between Monday and Friday and is funded until 31st August 2026.
The post will support the administration and coordination for a range of cancer clinical trials. The post will work alongside an established team of research nurses and data managers based in Oncology.
The post holder will be responsible for:
You will manage and co-ordinate a diverse range of activities and will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to use computers and databases for daily tasks is essential, and you will be expected to use your own initiative from forward planning to effectively managing workload in a role that requires the ability to multi-task. The post holder will have a pleasant and professional manner and a flexible approach to working, with the ability to work in a busy and challenging environment, prioritising and organising workload within tight time-scales and deadlines.
Previous experience of clinical research, especially managing commercial trials, as well as a current GCP would be an advantage for this post. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, has a flexible approach, and who will work to the high standard required in research.
