Care Assistant Days
- The Pines Nursing Home in Hove, near Brighton, Part of The Country Court Family

Hours: 33 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times - 0800-2000)

The Pines Nursing Home is one of the best-regarded care homes in the Brighton area. Our home offers dedicated residential and highly qualified nursing care. The manager and the highly trained & compassionate team understand everyone is different, so getting to know each resident is key to offering the best possible care.

ABOUT THE CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Helping our residents with personal support and care
  • Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
  • Supporting residents at meal times
  • Interacting with our residents on a personal level
  • Maintaining and developing the residents' care plan to ensure their needs are met

ABOUT YOU
Our fantastic staff are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people’s lives.

  • Be no stranger to working long shifts
  • Have good written & verbal communication skills
  • Able to engage well with the residents and their families
  • Have an understanding of people with Dementia.
  • Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
  • Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards this.

Care Assistant, dementia, Alzheimer’s, older people, senior care assistant, Support staff, Social Care Worker jobs, Community Care Worker, Residential Care Worker, NHS Support Worker.

Work permit in United Kingdom: Required

English language skill: Intermediate (B1)

Driver's license: Not required
