The Helios Amper-Klinikum Dachau is a level II specialist hospital and an academic teaching hospital of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Around 17,000 inpatients are treated there every year, and around 650 acute inpatients and 1,050 inpatients undergo rehabilitation at the Helios Amper-Klinik Indersdorf. A further 30,000 patients receive outpatient medical care from over 1,150 employees at the two clinic locations. The 16 specialist departments in Dachau have a total of 435 beds. A vocational school for nursing is attached to the Dachau clinic. The clinic in Markt Indersdorf specializes in geriatric medicine and has a total of 95 beds with acute geriatrics as well as inpatient and outpatient geriatric rehabilitation.

Das Helios Amper-Klinikum Dachau, ein Krankenhaus der Schwerpunktversorgung (Stufe II) mit 435 Betten, bietet neben moderner Notfallversorgung und einem breiten Behandlungsspektrum spezialisierte Angebote, die zu einer überregionalen Bedeutung beitragen. Das Dachauer Klinikum versorgt jährlich rund 22.000 stationäre Patienten. Weitere 30.000 Patienten werden ambulant von den über 1.000 Mitarbeitern medizinisch versorgt.
